Women of Resilience

Brought together college students from the Associated Colleges, Paul Smith’s College and women leaders from the Canton-Potsdam area.To kick-off the event, Mary Peterson, Commissioner at Vermont Department of Taxes, was our keynote speaker on Friday, November 6 at 4:00 p.m. at SUNY Canton. On Saturday, November 7, we had the opportunity to empower our students through workshops, a panel discussion and networking reception. We had a number of highly motivated women who facilitated the workshops.

Brought together students from the four colleges and women leaders from the community to discuss women’s leadership, initiate mentoring relationships, and offer ideas about future programming.  Approximately 100 students participated in the conference along with 25 women leaders.  The speakers for the event were Dr. Dayle Smith, Dean of the School of Business at Clarkson University and Dr. Kristin Esterberg, President of SUNY Potsdam.
